Colour Matching

The natural world provides us with a  beautiful rainbow of shades, colours and hues.  It provides so many wonderful opportunities for investigating and provides inspiration, inspiring children to be curious. Autumn is a beautiful season when the trees are turning different shades or orange, greens, yellows, reds and brown, the changes are just magical and children wonder how and what is happening to the trees during this time of year, they notice the leaves falling to the ground and changing colour, we love to regularly take Autumn walks with the children to talk about what we can see and collect the treasures that this wonderful season provides.  

You will need....

• A collection of Autumn leaves
• Some paint sample cards available form most DIY places
• a tray or table to place the leaves on.
