Glass Painting
Autumn
Who needs a sheet of paper when you decide that painting on a bottle is such a wondrous and fascinating experience ? This curious little learner decided to explore, investigate and discover what it was like to paint on a 3D surface !To be CURIOUS
It wasn’t a planned activity, it wasn’t an invitation or provocation set up by an adult! “The child decided to be curious. She was the ‘pilot in her own play ‘ “We the adults are the air traffic controllers, making sure that conditions are right! That the environment is prepared and ready for the children and that she had permission to take her thinking, ideas and critical thinking, in a direction SHE decided!” A mindful adult was there to support, wait, watch and wonder! To be present and in awe of this capable learner! At The Curiosity Approach, we need to recognise moments where we have to just get out of a child’s way and let them fly!
