Beltane
At The Curiosity Approach we follow the seasons.
Rhythm and Rituals Looking to nature to inspire us .
Did you know that Beltane is the pagan tradition, a halfway point between spring equinox and summer solstice; celebration of fertility“Other customs would have included decorating homes with flowers including primrose, hawthorn and rowan. As well as hanging them in windows and doorways,Dances around a maypole have also been a part of some Beltane celebrations. Lighting fires and bonfires and celebrates the start of the summer season, is here once more. “Many traditions for May Day or Beltane have diminished over the centuries . However here at The Curiosity Approach we look to celebrate NATURE & we created a beautiful Garland of ‘nature to greet our parents and children. It’s our own simple tradition of embracing Nature, Mother Earth and celebrating this incredible planet we are on.
Traditions can be started at anytime by anyone . They are a conscious and meaningful time of connection - what rituals or traditions do you have in your settings ?
